Iain - HR Manager
Iain has been with the company now for over 17 years. He says, "I can honestly say that no two days are the same! The pandemic was certainly a challenge, but I believe also helped shape the company for the future".
As well as work, Iain is also a Dad to two young children... "Lots to juggle, but an occasional cuddle when working from home is great!"

James - Operations Team Leader
James has been in the business since November 2012 and manages our Lowestoft Logistics team. He’s also responsible for managing our UK & Irish deliveries, ensuring orders are packed/dispatched and delivered on time for same day & next day deliveries.
"The main thing I enjoy about my role is the people I work with. We’re a small team in Lowestoft, but we all collaborate and go the extra mile to ensure we delight our customers. I also enjoy the reactiveness of the role and working in a fast-paced environment.
Fun fact about me, I am the Altro Walls undisputed Table Tennis champion! (Have been for a number of months now and yes, we have a table tennis table here on site!) In my spare time, I’m a Norwich City fan (Someone has to support them) and try and go to as many games as possible. I like going to the gym and also reading a good book! I’m also a husband & father to 3 beautiful children!"

Kuldeep - Technologist
"As a Technologist, I engage in a wide variety of tasks. These range from supporting the manufacturing lines with any issues that may occur, helping to ensure a smooth production run, to liaising with various other departments to deliver new product developments and improvements whilst maintaining product compliance. No day is ever identical, which keeps every day interesting.
I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2014 with a BSc in Wildlife Conservation, which stemmed from a love of animals, which led to a few pets over the years, from a German Shepherd to a Gecko. When I’m not at work, I can be found reading a book, playing video games or out and about with friends and family.
Since working at Altro I have been an Elf, a Leopard, a Superhero and a Magician all for our company parties".

Michael - Manufacturing Technician
Michael plays a key role in manufacturing our safety flooring products at our site in Letchworth Garden City HQ.
He's been with us for over 3 years now, but before working with us, he was a zoo keeper, so he's really in to zoology.
In his spare time he is a movie buff and a seasoned runner!

Samantha - Sales Consultant
"I have now worked at Altro for over ten years! My first role at Altro was as a Sales Coordinator in our Customer Care Centre in Letchworth Garden City. One of the things I enjoy the most at Altro is the team. Working through my role in the care centre, I have worked with many departments across the entire business and have collaborated with several different colleagues. I have worked as a Specification Consultant for eight months now, and every day is different, which I really enjoy. I’ve got to know an entirely new side to the business, and it’s great to get out and speak to current and prospective clients and talk about our product range"

Amy - Internal Recruiter
Amy started in our Customer Care Centre over 13 years ago working as part of our sales order processing team.
"Over my years with Altro, i've got married, passed my driving test, had two children and completely changed career and moved into the HR Team...i've become a real grown up!"
In a previous life, Amy used to be a holiday rep out in Majorca where she used to dress up as Dizzy the Dolphin for a living.
"I think what you can learn from my previous work history is do what you love, you can decide to change course at any point and find a company that wants to develop and support you".
